Rowe Family- Brownsboro Farm Portrait Session

I was so excited when the Rowe’s contacted me about taking some family photos for them out on their land. The Rowe’s were our neighbors in Chandler in our first house as a married couple. They were the kind of neighbors that you could borrow a cup of sugar from and it would have been so fun to raise our boys together, BUT we both moved so obviously that didn’t happen. Anyway, it is always so nice to get to reconnect with people and I was so glad I got to meet their sweet baby boy!

I always love to photograph at new places and it doesn’t get much better than wide open Texas land. Just a few steps away from their house is a gate out into this beautiful field covered in yellow wildflowers and a tree here and there. To the side of their land is woods, so we were completely in the shade, which in Texas July heat, shade is a necessity! Their cows were in the neighboring field mooing at us, and I just loved every minute. Have I mentioned I love living in East Texas? We had fun playing with the boys and laughing at their aunt that was behind me pulling all sorts of antics trying to keep everyone smiling!

We also got some pictures closer to the house, so that the baby could move around on a quilt, and closed out the photo session with their oldest boy riding around on his very own tractor. He was clearly in his element.
