2020 Fall Mini Photo Sessions
As I’m prepping for mini sessions this fall, I realized I never posted any blog of mini sessions last year. Mini sessions are different from other sessions because they’re short and all taken in the same location/area. They are also less expensive and a great option to getting an updated family photo each year, without breaking the bank! Bonus, if you don’t have cooperative family members, you can promise them it won’t last long, especially if they do as they are asked.
One drawback is that you don’t get as much variety! With a full photo session, we use different backgrounds and walk around a location, so there is a lot of variety in backgrounds as well as posing. That being said, I have a list of shots in my head for mini sessions, so that we make the most of the time we have, to get all the favorite shots!
Below are a few examples from families I served through mini sessions last year. You receive a gallery of 20-30 images and pick your favorite 5, or have the option to purchase more. Many go ahead and purchased the full album as we were able to get so many great photos in a short amount of time!
So don’t let the words “mini session” fool you into thinking you don’t get many pictures to choose from. You will get plenty with different variations and posing to put on holiday cards, give as gifts, or print and hang in your house!
Thank you to all the families who chose me as their photographer in 2020!
