Ashlynn’s Senior Session at the Ranch

Well I won’t say that doing this session made me feel old, because I used to hate when people said that as I grew up! I did babysit her when she was little though, so seeing her poised, gorgeous, and so skilled with these animals had me all in my feels!!

Ashlynn is a proud member of FFA and loves showing her animals, so naturally they all had to be included in her senior pictures. I had never done anything like this before, so I was pumped! What a fun experience it was, and it really was awe-inspiring to see how she could so easily (well she made it look easy anyway) handle animals that weighed much much much more than her. Now, we just need a chance to get back together when I can bring my 2 year old little boy, because he would have gone crazy over the baby goats!

Also, the land we took the pictures on was GORGEOUS, and with a little bit of fall color in the background and a glowy sunset, I was in a photographers paradise. For the most part anyway. I did get a little nervous about the bull across the fence that was paying a litttttle too much attention to us at times!

These baby goats were sooooooo cute!!!

I didn’t notice this during the photoshoot, but cracked up when I was editing, so I just had to throw it in!

Loved this family heirloom chair that they brought!

Ashlynn also wanted pictures with her dog, so we rushed to her house right at sunset and were able to get a few before it was too dark!

This isn’t even HALF of the pictures from this shoot! Loved every minute!
